About Us

Donna M. Perham is a graduate of the prestigious Muscular Therapy Institute, Cambridge, MA (now Cortiva Institute, in Watertown, MA) where she completed 900+ hours of professional training in the Benjamin System of Muscular Therapy.  She is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, and is licensed Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

In private practice in Melrose, MA since 1998, Donna combines techniques and philosophies from various healing modalities in addressing issues of chronic tension, stress reduction and pain management.  Through continuing education, Donna stays current in her field by attending on-going seminars, workshops, and specific training intensives to maintain and expand her knowledge of the therapeutic arts.

Donna’s experience includes working at two Boston Sports Club locations - the Hilton Colonial in Lynnfield and the Ferncroft Hotel in Peabody; on-call massage therapist at the Four Seasons Hotel and the Copley Plaza Marriott Hotel in Boston, and volunteering at the Boston Marathon doing post-race massage for many years, and the Timberman Triathlonin Gilford, NH.

A large segment of Donna’s practice includes working with athletes - runners and golfers in particular.  She empathizes with the athlete who is unable to participate in their chosen sport because of an injury and will encourage healing through massage, stretching and various other modalities. Specific, targeted massage techniques can help heal problem areas and bring the athlete back to where they can compete and enjoy their sport once again.
